Magnetic Stripe with Penta Scanner
The application supports the Card Present transactions by using the Desko device. The user can do a Magnetic Swipe using this terminal.
Before performing the transactions the user has to add the Desko terminal to the application on the Terminal Management page.
Note
Before starting to use the Desko terminal, make sure the tomcat server is up and running.
Once the terminal is added and connected to the computer, the device monitor displays as below:
On the Make A Payment page, Select Card Present radio button and the Desko terminal from the Terminal drop-down list.
Select the Terminal Entry Mode as Magnetic Stripe - Wired. The user is prompted with a popup which says Please Swipe your card using the Terminal
This initiates the device and on the device a message displays that the Device is Ready and this is when the user should swipe the card.
The user now have to swipe the card using the Desko device.
A message displays on the device saying that the Card Swipe is Completed.
Now on the Make A Payment, all these card details gets captured and auto-filled.

After filling in all the required fields, the user has to click on the Review button and on the Confirm button on the Review Payment page to complete the payment.
