Desko Penta Scanner 4x

The DESKO PENTA Scanner® 4x is a full-page scanner designed to be used in self-service and agent operated environments.

STEP1: Before installing the PENTA Scanner 4x we need to download and install the Device Drivers.

STEP 2: Please download the Desko Penta Scanner 4x.

STEP 3: Please select the download area of your PC and click on the zip file. Open the file in the next folder and start with the application set up.

STEP 4: Select the zip file and click by pressing the right mouse button on the field Extract All…“ and now „Extract”

Step 5: In the next window, confirm that the DESKO device software can be installed on your device.

The download and installation is finished. You can verify the installation by clicking on the Windows or start button and search for Device API Penta Scanner 4x Demo either on your desktop or in your Windows programs.

Connecting the Device

Connect the Desko Device. Once connected, run the demo app.

Click on the Connect button.

Once the device gets connected, you will see the option Ready To Scan.

When the user scans the document, the app shows up like this.

When the documents are scanned the data is captured and displayed in the Demo app.
